When Should I Take Off the Hair System

Adam is a Lavivid hair system wearer. His current hair system is a custom full French lace, color seven.

Today, Adam wanted to talk to his viewers about signs they should be looking out for as to when to remove their hair system and give it a clean. The first thing he notices when he needs to remove his system is that it gets more itchy. The reason for that is because his bio hair is starting to grow under and it’s growing against the hair system, thus creating a bit of friction and itchiness. As Adam’s bio hair under the system gets longer, the itchiness will likely become more pronounced. When it becomes quite itchy, that’s probably a sign for the viewers that they should be removing the system and giving it a clean.

A second thing to look out for is if they start getting lifts in the system. The system Adam has been wearing for about a week, and he can feel a few lifts at the back and the sides. This is because the system has been on for a period of time, and factors like sweating and daily activities can weaken the bond over time. The tape itself can get mushy or the glue can loosen, especially at the front, which is the most noticeable place for lifts, especially if they have an exposed hairline. So, Adam advises the viewers to keep an eye on any lifts that might appear, as others around them might notice them too.

Lastly, Adam advises viewers to consider the time. He wouldn’t wear a system for more than two weeks without taking it off, cleaning it, and doing a re-bond. Anything beyond two weeks is probably quite unhygienic, as our skin encounters viruses, bacteria, and fungi regularly, and it’s essential to keep the scalp clean to avoid infections.

In summary, if the viewers are finding that their heads are increasingly itchy, if they’re getting lifts under their systems, or if it’s been more than two weeks, it’s probably time for them to consider removing their system, giving it a clean, and getting it back on their head.

Now that it’s been over a week and there are a couple of lifts, Adam will now demonstrate how to remove his Lavivid hair system for the viewers. He always uses a lace removal spray called C22, and he applies it to the edges of the system. It works quickly to loosen the system, making it easy to remove without causing damage to the scalp or the hairpiece.

Adam hopes the viewers found that video helpful. He will speak to them again soon. Bye for now!
